大家好！我叫xxx，在这里我以平常人的心态，参与幸福中学英语教师岗位竞聘。此次竞聘，本人为了响应人事制度改革的召唤，在有可能的情况下实现自己的人生价值。我现年39岁，大专文化程度，中学一级教师职称。1986年毕业于临沧师范学校英语班，同年八月分配到幸福中学任教。工作至今，我热爱党，热爱社会主义，服从领导分工安排，爱岗敬业，积极完成学校交给的各项任务。
参与这次竞聘，我认为我主要有以下的几个有利条件：
1、有初中教师资格证书和合格学历。
2、在这20年的教育教学工作中，我一直承担初三年级教育教学工作，曾经担任过班主任，教育教学成绩居全县前列，具有丰富的教学经验，是我校的骨干教师。
3、有较强团结协作、吃苦耐劳、扎实工作、追求上进、不甘落后等精神。

5、为了适应新时代的`教育教学要求，近几年来，本人通过自学，掌握了计算机的简单操作使用。学会了wps、word、powerpoint、 excel等教学上用得到的常用软件的使用，学会了上网，经常浏览有关教育网站，了解关于教育教学改革的信息和新动态，并能从网上下载一些有助于教育教学的资料，与发达地区同步享受最新资源信息，为我校即将构建的多媒体教学、电化教学、网络备课、网络教学打下了坚实的基础。

1、按教学大纲和教学内容作好计划，设计教案，学期学年末写好总结。
2、合理布置并及时批改作业，捕捉分析作业对错情况，并及时反馈。
3、钻研教育教学理论，积极参加教改实践活动，不断改进教法，提高教学质量。
4、关心学生，因材施教，分层次教学，让学生不同程度的得以提高，配合学校，进一步搞好控辍保学工作。
5、积极参加教研活动，每周听课不少于一节，上好学校开展的优质课和公开课。
6、服从学校安排，按时上下课，不迟到，不旷课，有事请假。

one reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieve anything. it is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. if we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. if we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities.

youth is not a time of life, it is a state of mind ; it is not rosy cheeks , red lips and supple knees, it is a matter of the emotions : it is the freshness ; it is the freshness of the deep springs of life .
youth means a temperamental predominance of courage over timidity of the appetite , for adventure over the love of ease. this often exists in a man of 60 more than a boy of 20 . nobody grows old merely by a number of years . we grow old by deserting our ideals.
years wrinkle the skin , but to give up enthusiasm wrinkles the soul . worry , fear , self –distrust bows the heart and turns the spirit back to dust .
whether 60 of 16 , there is in every human being ‘s heart the lure of wonders, the unfailing childlike appetite of what’s next and the joy of the game of living . in the center of your heart and my heart there’s a wireless station : so long as it receives messages of beauty , hope ,cheer, courage and power from men and from the infinite, so long as you are young .
when the aerials are down , and your spirit is covered with snows of cynicism and the ice of pessimism, then you are grown old ,even at 20 , but as long as your aerials are up ,to catch waves of optimism , there is hope you may die young at 80.

我竞聘的岗位是初中英语教师岗位，竞聘这一岗位的理由如下：

三、业务方面从教多年来，从未间断过继续教育学习，取得了英语本科学历，计算机甲级乙等，县、市级骨干教师培训证，英特尔教师培训证等。
四、教育教学工作能力
1、胜任英语教学工作，在联考中我所任教班级的英语成绩名列前茅；曾在全县初三英语教师会上做了经验交流；先后三次参加通化县区域教研教改公开课，受到同行们的好评，并被xxx教师进修学校授予“课改优质课”的光荣称号。
2、胜任班主任工作，特别是转变脏乱差班级的管理方面，取得了极大的成绩，被评为市级优秀教师。

综上所述，本人符合竞聘中学英语教师岗位所具备的条件和素质，故向各位评委和老师提出申请。如果我能够竞聘上这个岗位，我打算从以下几个方面改进自已的教学工作，提高自已的教学水平。
a）更加科学规范地做好日常教学工作，认真落实教学常规工作，确保教学质量稳中有升。
b）顺应教学改革方向，积极参加教学改革。根据英语学科的特点，我打算开展“任务型教学”实验活动，把学习者个人的生活经历作为课堂学习的主要资源，力图将课堂内的语言学习与课堂外的语言活动结合起来。
c）结合英语学科特点和学生实际情况，配合学校的校本教研，设计并开展丰富多采的英语实践活动，进一步拓展学生的`视野，培养学生各方面能力。
d）加强个人修养，练好基本功。进一步树立自已强烈的事业心和责任感，加强自已的工作能力和工作艺术，顾全大局，维护学校良好形象，努力调动学生的学习积极性，提高教学质量，力争在教学中体现实力，在工作中保持动力，在学生和老师的交往中凝聚合力。
